Architecture Decisions
Cueline is built on .NET 9 with C# for the API layer — chosen for its performance under load, mature ecosystem, and the team’s deep expertise. The frontend uses React with a component library tuned for Nigerian bandwidth conditions: aggressive lazy-loading, skeleton screens, and an offline-first service worker.
Real-time features run on SignalR (Azure Web PubSub in production), giving live collaboration without the complexity of a separate WebSocket infrastructure.
Azure OpenAI powers the intelligent routing and document summarisation features. Prompts are structured and deterministic — we don’t use AI where a rules engine is more appropriate.
Current Status
